Batcheller Mansion Inn
20 Circular Street, Saratoga Springs, NY
Nestled in the heart of Saratoga Springs, New York and surrounded by rich history lays the Batcheller Mansion Inn, a stately and renowned Saratoga landmark and is truly one of the great Victorian homes in America. Built by the Albany architectural firm of Nichols & Halcott in 1873, it was home to George Sherman Batcheller, a Civil War veteran turned prominent political figure and his family for many years. The home has gone through changes over the years but today has been restored to its original brilliance and sits as the “Crown Jewel “of Saratoga Springs.
The Albany Paranormal Research Society was honored to conduct paranormal investigations of the location on two separate occasions. A presentation was given about the mansion and its ghostly encounters; the personal experiences of the APRS team and EVP evidence captured during their investigations.
